Our in-home care services enable you to live comfortably in your own home for longer, while our respite services provide a much-needed break for those that are caring for their partner at home.  

Many of our retirement living communities are also conveniently located next to our residential communities, which means it is easy to transition into receiving more care or live close to your partner if they require additional care.  

It’s easy to access additional support as and when you need it when you live in a Uniting AgeWell retirement village. Our available care and support services include cleaning, personal care, ironing, shopping and more. These services can be funded on a fee-for-service basis or may be government subsidised.  

Fees and charges vary across our communities with a range of options available. Some operate on a lifetime lease structure, which requires an ingoing contribution, service and exit fees, while others offer rental or social housing options. 

We offer transparent and simple contracts meaning there is no confusion around terms and conditions. Contracts are governed by the Retirement Villages Act and outline all fees and charges.

Uniting AgeWell offers affordable housing units for people over 65 who are on a limited income. These well-maintained one-bedroom units are in communities around northern and southern Tasmania. A fortnightly rent is charged based on the resident’s income and a bond is required as well.
